The ONLY part of Mario World worth 80$


 To begin, let me just say that all of this is purely my opinion. One of my friends was one of the people to go to GameStop early in the morning and bag the Nintendo switch 2 the day it came out. Actually, all of the Nintendo’s which came with the new game were sold out. My friend was lucky to get one switch 2 and the game which were both sold separately. He then brought it home and played it for a good amount of time.

3 days after this, he invited me, and two other friends to hang out and try the new switch. We also played the Zelda with upgraded graphics, which was quite cool. Anyways, we did the 24 player races which I wasn’t very good at. I found the whole race to be unpredictable since there were 24 players. Basically, anything could happen. 

Another thing worth mentioning is the free roam mode. You can explore the whole map, and there are many secrets to be found. For example, you can find p switches which activate mini games. These can be challenging, and teach you the game. I watched a video of a guy who followed toad who was driving a car. Eventually, toad went off road and started flooring it across the map. He even left the car and went on foot!This is just one of the many hidden secrets and Easter eggs, so I’ll leave you to find them if you get the game.

Now, it’s time to talk about my favorite part, and what I would buy this game just to play: knockout tour. Whenever we played this mode, it was full of laughs, yells, and excitement. For those of you who don’t know what this is, let me explain it. It’s a nonstop race where you have to be at a certain place or lower to continue. For example, you might to be 20th place or lower to continue the race. The last four would be eliminated. It goes from 20, to 16, 12, 8, 4, and 1. 


Just imagine that you’re in 9th place and need to get 8th or higher. Then, your opponent in front of you slips on a banana and you rush in front, securing 8th place. This happens many times in knockout tour and never gets old. I’ve only gotten to 4th place max, and it’s always hard to get any higher. Once, 2 of my friends and I were in the final section together. An NPC won. Yes, they are actually good.


Of course, there is also battle and vs racing mode, but my friend said that the battle mode was a bit boring and not very new. I’ll take his word on that, and you should too. Another fun thing is all of the characters you can find and play as. I’m a bit confused by their choices (like why did they add a big bird and not king bomb) but nonetheless, it’s still more entertaining. Also, what did they do to peach’s face?


So to conclude, Mario world has pros and cons which all depend on the player and what they think. But if you’re getting the game, please play knockout tour a lot. I’m still deciding if I want to spend money on the switch 2, but I think I’ll wait to see if they add a discount of some sort. Thanks for reading, and have a great rest of your day.

CODING!!! (but for people who can't)

For the past few years, I have been trying to code. But up to today, I have made barely any progress. I have tried almost each and every program which allegedly teaches you how to code. And I still stay at only print hello world. (this is very basic coding). There is only 1 coding software which I still use today, and that is scratch. I know that scratch may seem simple at first, but not only can it be simple, but it can be challenging. In fact, there are a lot of scratchers who do know how to code yet still use scratch.  I first learnt scratch when I took a class at code ninja. After the class, I told my friends about scratch and it was the only thing we played for months. Ring Fitness: I beat the game!

 Ring Fitness: the workout game Nintendo designed.  I started playing this game during COVID to stay active, and I found it quite entertaining---at least for a little while. At the start of the game, you start out as a man or woman who teams up with "ring" do defeat an evil dragon named dragaux. If you're in for a game with a good story, this is the last place you should look. You fight monsters in "fit battles" which means you follow the workout shown on screen. There are 4 different categories of workout. Leg workouts, arm workouts, ab workouts, and yoga. (shown above). After a short period of time, it gets much more repetitive, and you end up having to fight the SAME boss 20 different times through 22 different worlds. For some reason, I thought about beating the game 100%, but I changed my mind for the sake of my sanity.  After beating this game, I have been trying out different forms of workout, and I found that you lose more calories walking on a treadmill...
